Riding the Rails

Hello!

I was in Quebec City this week for a conference and had to come home on short notice. I booked a train ride back to Montreal on VIA Rail. I was very surprised by the service and comfort. Compared to an airplane, there is much more room, it's cheaper, nice landscape to watch and quicker boarding times. Next time, I will maybe try a round trip. I am jealous of the luxury that Europeans enjoy with their massive train network.

J'étais à Québec cette semaine pour une conférence et j'ai du revenir à la maison plus tot. J'ai réservé un siège sur un train de VIA Rail. J'étais très surpris par le service et le comfort. En comparaison à un avion, il y a beaucoup plus de place, c'est moins cher, le paysage est fantastique et l'embarquement/débarquement est très rapide. La prochaine fois, je vais possiblement faire un voyage aller/retour. Je suis jaloux du luxe que les européens possèdent avec leur réseau massive de trains.
