I have a client that received an error while trying to install AutoCAD LT 2008. The error was related to MSXML 6.0 that is required by the product. The workaround I found was to cancel the autorun installer and use the MSI file on the CD to install the product. Worked like a charm and much faster than the SETUP.EXE installer that is loaded automatically.

J'ai un client qui a recu une erreur lors de l'installation d'AutoCAD LT 2008. L'erreur était relié à la composante MSXML 6.0 qui est requise par le produit. Le truc que j'ai trouvé est d'annuler la boite de dialogue qui s'ouvre automatiquement lors du démarrage du CD et d'utiliser le fichier MSI sur le CD pour installer le produit. Ca fonctionne à merveille et c'est plus vite que le SETUP.EXE qui est utilisé par défaut.

I also was told by a few customers that they had this issue installing AutoCad 2008. There is a '' READ ME File '' on the original CD that clearly states that Framework.net NS iNSTALLER 3.01 DEPLOYMENT should be installed BEFORE attempting to install AutoCad 2008. I'respected these request and had no issues whatsoever installing it, better, i didn't have any pop-up screens during the Install. I have to mention though that the OS came from an Original Windows XP SP2 CD and not the First version of XP with the SP1a and SP2 installed afterward.

J'ai aussi parmi ma clientèle quelques clients qui m'ont informé de ce problème mais après quelques recherches, j'ai trouvé sur le CD Original, qu'il est mentionné qu'on doit installer Framework.net et Installer 3.01 deployment AVANT de procéder a l'installation de AutoCad 2008.
J'ai tenté sur un nouveau PC cette procédure et j'ai réussi avec succès même sans aucune fenetre de POP-UP. Je dois aussi mentionner que le OS était Windows XP SP2 d'origine ( le CD était de version SP2) et non la version primaire avec l'installation des SP1a et SP2 par la suite.
